I will say that slate's plugs do seem to be a little aggressive with their aning that an ever so slight adjustment makes a fairly noticeable audible adjustment most times. so I find that statement to be a little heavy handed, because you say like that isn't the exact same thing that makes our ears like any other plug whether made by UAD or anyone else.
